Single-Page Theme Maker

To celebrate the release of the Theme Maker, I’ve created a modded version of Zimo Web’s code base that focuses solely on the Theme Maker and some core functionalities of Zimo Web.

The Theme Maker was designed to be independent. Its export and import functionality allows it to operate outside of Zimo Web’s account framework, providing an alternative way to sync configurations. Each section within the Theme Maker is self-contained and can be used anywhere, from the homepage to a blog article. Inspired by this versatility, I decided to separate the Theme Maker into its own app.

I started by modifying the existing Zimo Web codebase, removing every redundant component and leaving only the essential features. This process made me realize just how far I’ve really come to building the entire codebase. Stripping away the unrelated components and making slight modifications to the remaining ones resulted in a web app that consists of a single page and is entirely independent. In fact, the site can run standalone with just the HTML, CSS, and JavaScript files. For those who want to run the app offline, a static build is available.

This variant of the Theme Maker has a few changes. The image analysis functionality and the photo button have been removed as their implementation requires a backend. There is no account system in this version. Settings still function normally but only on the current device. Due to this, the upper limit of the number of profiles at a time has been increased from 16 to 500. Besides the four provided templates, four additional templates are included by default: Cherry, Mori, Vitreous, and Scintillating themes.

Please note that this modded Theme Maker is not official and may not receive updates if the original Theme Maker undergoes functional changes. For now, enjoy this streamlined experience with the creative tool.
