Infinity Update

Zimo Web has just celebrated its first anniversary, and we are steadily progressing towards Infinity. The Infinity Update brings multiple new features to the Theme Maker, introduces three stunning new themes, and presents a new technology that sets the direction for Zimo Web’s future.

What’s New

Theme Maker

The Theme Maker has welcomed an array of new features. For linear gradients, you can now define the orientation based on four directions instead of using an angle value. This newly added feature also brings back the original look of the Autumnal and Cherry themes.

A new command key button has been added to the Theme Maker’s utility buttons. This feature allows you to add preset themes as profiles in the Theme Maker, which is great for demonstration purposes.

With all the features added to the Theme Maker, it has now reached feature completeness. This means the Theme Maker has achieved its maximum potential and can create the most stunning themes possible.

New Themes

Gallery, Eep, and Vibrant themes have been added to Zimo Web’s design lineup. The Gallery theme is inspired by the customizability of Zimo Web’s favicons, creating a visual experience that showcases the various ways favicons can be presented.

Homepage and Design page

The homepage and the design page have been slightly updated now that the Theme Maker is feature complete. They now showcase the capabilities of this creative tool more prominently.

Blog Articles

The blog now displays the date of last edit of an article along with the original publish date. A small yet handy feature indeed.

Pop-up Window Rework

Pop-up windows have been reworked to be more consistent, responsive, and predictable. The new pop-up system utilizes a coding paradigm that is essential for the next step of Zimo Web.

Start of a New Era

Beyond many other wonderful features, this update has introduced a completely new experience of how Zimo Web will be used. Inspired by window-based desktop operating systems, Zimo Web has now incorporated its own window framework. Whether it’s for displaying widgets or conveniently setting up articles, this new system provides a consistent solution and is the next step in the Zimo Web experience. The implementation of the window system is not only a technical feat but also has tremendous implications, bringing a new dimension to the existing UI design.

Currently, the new window framework is complete, but it will take more time for Zimo Web’s widgets to fully adapt to the power of the window system. The command key button of the Theme Maker is already utilizing the power of the window framework, allowing the panel to reach its full potential. In the next update, more features of Zimo Web will adapt to this groundbreaking technology.
